Nobody Watches Commercials Anymore...*

"Nobody watches commercials anymore." If this were true, Super Bowl commercials and big brand commercials wouldn't exist because companies would just be wasting money.


Now some may believe companies are wasting money when in reality, they're gaining more visibility than ever through both sight AND sound.

Here's why this is a general marketing misconception. Small businesses may not believe it is affordable and their Tik Tok videos got lots of "likes" and "shares" but no conversion.


Does the platform and media your business creates and uses reflect that of the business? Do you know who your best audience is? Do you know your return-on-investment (ROI)? More than likely, no. Which means you probably have some great (or maybe not-so-great) content but no real strategy. Therefore, it gets categorized as "not working for me" or "no one is watching my ad anyways".


As a seasoned Media Marketing Director for over 15 years, commercial video producer for 20 years and media business owner, I've heard plenty of misconceptions and misaligned thoughts on video and marketing. Most often when talking to clients, I find there is a bigger opportunity being missed on all sides of marketing one's business. And most often marketing is thrown to an agency one cannot truly afford that provides analytics they don't

understand or a freelancer that just makes "cool videos". Nothing wrong with either side in certain scenarios but is it truly working for you?


So, let's talk commercial video production for various uses, strategies and how to make the best video work for you and your business. Know what you should expect, how the video should be crafted AND launched and WHERE it should be launched. Not every platform supports every business.
