Ai is a Tool NOT a Solution

This is a hard take for many people, including businesses that believe Ai can replace content creators, designers, etc. The poorly designed image attached to this article was created by a human - me, in just a few minutes. Why not make it Ai and cool? I could have, but that wasn't the point.

As a fan of tech, video games and computers, I have been skeptical of Ai in some capacities but learned to embrace it in some areas as well. The issue comes where people may use it for everything including their own thinking.

Cool images, video and sound solely created by Ai doesn't make your business thrive. You do. If you have amazing ads, videos and an awesome store front but don't know your brand, do poor business, have poor products/service then all you have is "cool" upfront and nothing more.

I post this today as I am seeing more and more businesses overusing or even abusing Ai to make their business shine. Eventually the shine will fade or the true passion that drives the business will be solely focused on what's artificial than the business itself.

Ai is a tool much like a hammer. A hammer can get a lot of carpentry jobs done but eventually will need to work alongside other tools with skilled hands. If all one needs to know is how to hammer in a nail, then the hammer isn't the answer. The craft requires more knowledge, skill and variety of uses a hammer has to get the job done.

As we continue to see Ai evolve, I would like to encourage you to use it wisely. See it as a tool and not a solution. Don't lose yourself or purpose over what Ai claims to offer. Much like any other tool, if used improperly or solely relied upon, it can do serious damage.
