Aside from the amount of coupons you may have sent out or estimated traffic that drives by your billboard(s), do you truly know what your conversion percentage is?
Coupons, billboards, radio and TV ads have their place. There is no real wrong way to advertise unless it is completely throwing money to the wind.
For example, why would someone promote on TikTok when their primary client is 55 years old on up? Why would a business not have a simple Youtube page when Google is known to prioritize Youtube (they own Youtube) in a search? Why would someone continue to put door-to-door flyers out for a business that caters to other businesses and not consumers?
Believe it or not...these "strategies" happen. More than it should.
Here's a thought, did you know for a reasonable price of a prime location billboard, you can launch a professional video via online advertising that will help bring prospective clients / customers AND could also tell you who your best audience is?
Disclaimer: Some freelancers, media agencies and other similar businesses may disagree to a point but, it is a marketing possibility.
With that said, I truly encourage you from business owner to business owner, review your marketing efforts / strategies and ask yourself "is this right for my business?" And follow it up with, "if not, who is my best audience and how should I consider reaching out to them."

In business, there is always room for improvement, reassessment, and new strategies. It's a noisy digital world and it's not your job to be noisier, just to be seen.
