Consistency Is Key

A major key to being visible in the eye of the public is staying consistent with your business.
Whether it comes to branding, logo, colors, messaging or even frequency of outreach, even if it's daily / weekly / monthly, consistency in all thing is important to staying in front of current and prospective clients.
Early trains that ran on coal were constantly being fed more coal into the furnace to keep it going. If more coal was not added, the train simply stopped. As big and heavy those trains were, it often took more coal to get it started and going.
Marketing is much similar. If you stop or the frequency slows down or branding and messaging suddenly changes, your audience may completely pass you up.
Can you imagine if McDonald's and Taco Bell switched logos and colors overnight? Just branding, not food. Customers would become confused, frustrated, maybe even rant online and stop showing up. They could be frightened of the uncertainty and inconsistency of the brand. Thus, traffic would immensely slow down.
In a real world example, businesses may stop putting out the newsletter they started months ago, or release it sporatically. Businesses may post random posts or reels that have nothing to do with their brand or business. Or they may not post consistently at all, thus breaking the momentum.

It can be a lot of work to keep up, yet remember in the digital age, it is important to be on the platforms where your best audience is, and feed them often with information that makes sense to them and your business.
